このプロジェクトからは、山の斜面を覆う熱帯林の植生、川の流れ、棚田の3つの層が、この景観を形成していることが見渡せます。私たちは、この3つの層の長所をどのように生かすか考慮した結果、原風景を理解した上で、既存の植生を保存し、必要であれば樹木や低木を最大限に植え込むことで、バランスのとれたデザインの雰囲気が生まれる提案を考えました。

From the projects location there’s a wide view to the 3 main layers tat form this landscape, the tropical forest vegetation that covers the mointain slope, the river stream and the rice terraces. We want to form a landscape that borrows the best of these layers, integrated with the site.
